Host of A Shot of Truth Podcast and TEDx Speaker–Victoria Matey Mendoza is an Undocumented Queer Womxn of Color dedicated to working with her community. She is a recent graduate from Western Washington University, President of Blue Group 2016-2017, Changemaker Fellow 2017-2018 and Dream Lead Institute Fellow 2018-2019. She has been speaking for four years on various topics within the undocumented narrative–from higher education to border imperialism to detention centers.

As Undocumented Womxn of Color we wanted to create a platform for undocumented people to share their experiences, ideas, concerns and essentially whatever they want the world to know. We know millions of people carry this identity and we all have different complex lives. Before we started this podcast we were attending various conferences to share our message and motivate others to take action within their institutions and communities. We will not let our vulnerability silence us. This is our movement and we will win.
