Wonder Women Tech Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, and volunteers at our conferences and events are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Wonder Women Tech will enforce this code throughout the event to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. We expect cooperation from all participants as we work together to create a global impact for women and the underrepresented.

The WWT Ecosystem is dedicated to providing a harassment-free environment for everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability/ability, physical appearance, body size, religion (or lack thereof), spirituality, economic background or individual choices. We truly celebrate Everyone.

We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference programming, including panels, talks, workshops, sessions, parties, Twitter and other online media. We have a Zero Discrimination policy. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of Wonder Women Tech.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability/ability, physical appearance, body size, religion, spirituality, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, heckling, harassing photography or recording, deliberate disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention and behavior.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Sponsors and Exhibitors are also subject to our anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualized images, activities, or other material. Booth staff (including volunteers) should not use sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualized environment.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, Wonder Women Tech will take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund. Any aggressive or illegal activity will not be tolerated and the proper authorities will be contacted.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the conference staff immediately. Conference staff can be identified as they’ll be wearing branded clothing and/or badges and the registration desk will have staffers at all times.

Wonder Women Tech staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance and will do all we can to ensure an enjoyable and empowering experience.

We expect participants to follow these rules at all Wonder Women Tech conferences, workshop venues and conference-related social events.
