Teri Carpenter is a Global Logistics Manager at ModCloth, where Teri oversees and manages Global Logistics and facilitates all Global Trade Compliance functions within ModCloth. She assesses risks, coordinates global goods movement for various commodities, facilitates internal training, and develops written procedures to ensure all parties both internal and external comply with all local and Federal laws as it relates to global trade compliance and goods movement across foreign borders.
Teri has recently passed the Customs Broker’s Exam and is in the process of obtaining her Customs Brokers license. She worked in Customs Brokerage for 10 years and later crossed over to the importer side about 9.5 years ago. For the past two decades, Teri has had the opportunity to manage a variety of commodities from wearing apparel, handbags, accessories, footwear, automotive parts, and consumer electronics both on the Brokerage and importer side. She has worked in many facets of the supply chain.
Teri enjoys traveling the world and spending time with her family and friends. She is often found donating her free time volunteering with non- profit organizations in her community and helping the homeless. She is a Long Beach native whose father worked for the Naval shipyard in L.B. for over 35 years. She holds her community and the port close to her heart.
