Temple Lester is the gifted, award-winning 13-year old creator of “STEM Girl Swag”. She expressed an interest in science at a very early age. After being the only girl and minority at a science summer camp, she began advocating for underserved communities to help fill the gap between men and women and minorities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Technology).  Temple has delivered keynote speeches for numerous schools and organizations about the importance of including all in science.  She has exposed over 50,000 people to STEM through her website and online platforms. Temple developed the STEM Swag Box, a science kit, that makes STEM-education fun.
