A visionary and globally focused executive and entrepreneur, Susan has 20 years of hands-on experience in building successful and innovative businesses in media, management consulting and investment.
As the CEO and Founder of Teksia, Inc. she focused on creating entrepreneurship initiatives, technology conferences and networking events, and company’s online and print publications. She also organized and masterminded the internationally recognized ITF conference and trade show, which was connecting US academic, corporate and capital resources with entrepreneurs and technology clusters in emerging markets. In Linkore she leveraged her international network of 8000 front-line business leaders and financial partners to provide comprehensive support in all business areas to technology companies around the globe.
As a journalist, editor, publisher, investor, social entrepreneur & political fundraiser, Susan received multiple media, community and business awards and has been a speaker at various conferences and frequently featured by mainstream media such as ABC News, Huffington Post, Technorati, San Francisco Chronicle, San Jose Mercury, San Jose Business Journal, Nihon Keizai Shimbun, among others. She is a member of Stanford Business School Alumni Association and a member of board of directors at VOMax Corporation.
Susan received her MS in Management from Stanford University and co-founded Mavatar, an optimization engine for online shopping in 2011. As the visionary founder of Mavatar, Susan oversees the strategic and creative direction of the company and brings a proven background in successful marketing communications and business development to her position in Mavatar.
