Lead for Innovation Programs and Design | Bloomberg Philanthropies
Stephanie Wade leads multiple design-based innovation programs at Bloomberg Philanthropies. In this role, she helps cities around the world develop and implement innovative approaches that have a measurable impact on people’s lives. This includes using design, data analytics, and behavioral economics to deeply understand complex problems and experiences and quickly develop and implement innovative solutions.
Previously she served as the Director of the Innovation Lab at OPM (Office of Personnel Management) where she led the Lab in applying and teaching human-centered design across the federal government to deliver innovative services, programs, and products that helped solve complex public and cross-sector challenges.
Stephanie holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, a Practitioner’s Certificate in Design, Design Thinking, Coaching and Facilitation from the Austin Center for Design, and a Bachelors from Boston College with an honors degree in Sociology and minor in Studio Arts.
