Shannon Bulrice is a veteran marketing executive, tech expert, designer and passion ambassador based in Long Beach, California. She has been in marketing for over 15 years and is a graduate of both Brooks College and The University of Phoenix. Currently she focuses her time as founder and Chief Helper at Radcrafters LLC, leading the agency by tailoring custom marketing services for clients.
As a staunch advocate for finding one’s happiness and embracing one’s strengths she has embarked upon a new journey to help her fellow humans find their passion. She is compelled to share her love for life and the path that, while not always clear, that has led her to where she is and the gratitude she feels each and every day. By focusing time as a speaker and coach her goal is to support and empower others in their professional or personal lives by helping them build confidence in who they are and what they uniquely have to offer the world.
Shannon’s career began earlier than is typical, in her Sophomore year of high school she found herself pregnant and scared, unsure of the real impact of her situation she knew only that her life did not belong to her but to the child that she was bringing into the world. Having grown up without her mother she lacked a healthy maternal foundation but today believes that made her a better mother. From early in her pregnancy she aspired for more than what she had for her daughter. Shannon finished high school, tried college and part-time work but quickly realized she could not support her daughter with a part-time job.
Knowing college was going to have to come later in her life, Shannon began her business journey as an 18-year-old single mother with an entry-level job as a marketing assistant. She was determined to support her daughter and embraced the knowledge that she acquired each day in her new role. She had a wonderful mentor that saw her eagerness to learn and provided her with opportunities to grow each day. The turning point for Shannon’s career came when a graphic design project came up while her employer lacked a staff designer. Shannon was given an early 90’s Macintosh computer with CorelDraw 8 and the task of designing a poster for an event and she dove into the new task a bit overwhelmed but also excited. This opportunity shaped her future career by igniting a love of technology and design that drives her both professionally and personally today. She went on to earn degrees in Fashion Design and in Marketing, became a power user of Adobe software, and developed a passion for being the person others call when help is needed which brings her to where she is today.
Shannon’s professional and personal life are intertwined and neither aspect of her life would be complete without the other. Her daughter, now grown and a college graduate herself, has always been Shannon’s source of drive and determination, this source has grown to include Shannon’s husband and young son today which has afforded Shannon with a peace and all-encompassing love that she hopes to share with anyone who needs support in their personal and professional lives.
