Salone Sehgal is an early stage investor with experience in fund management, portfolio growth and investing in consumer tech start-ups, with a focus on media and entertainment. Over a 14 year career, she has gained cross sector experience in venture capital, investment banking and entrepreneurship. Salone has made a mark as a world leading talent in the digital technology sector by her contributions to the industry, both as an entrepreneur and as a respected member of the global tech fraternity. She has been recognised as one of the “Top 30 Women in Mobile” and “Top 100 Asian Stars in UK Tech”. She has also been featured by the “Women in Tech” campaign for her role in redefining leadership in technology. Previously, Salone developed a reputation for innovation within the digital technology sector as the Co-founder, CEO and director of TrulySocial, a venture backed gaming company where she led the company from idea to product reality. A regular speaker at the world’s best Tech conferences, she soon emerged as a thought leader on creating immersive use experiences for female audiences, particularly in games.

An ex-investment banker, Salone has previous experience in M&A, Private Equity and Growth Strategy. She left her banking career as a Vice-President, Global COO Office at Barclays PLC. Having worked across global institutions like Morgan Stanley, Barclays and KPMG, she has executed $10bn+ of live M&A deals and has cross – sector experience, with a particular interest in the technology sector. She also has an MBA from IESE Business School, Spain.
