VP and General Manager of the Commercial Civil Space | Lockheed Martin Space
Lisa B. Callahan is Vice President and General Manager of the Commercial Civil Space line of business for Lockheed Martin Space. In this role, she is responsible for all aspects of execution and growth for Commercial and Civil markets in human and robotic deep space exploration, communications, weather, and remote sensing. Ms. Callahan is also responsible for Michoud Operations and related activity at Stennis Space Center.
Lisa began her career at Lockheed Martin a systems engineer working with the US Navy and fast attack submarines. Her ability to see through problems to solutions and her willingness to work in a variety of business areas has helped her land several executive leadership roles at Lockheed Martin. These positions provided her the opportunity to learn different business areas and management styles while supporting one of the largest defense contractors in the world.
Lisa graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering. She served on the Dean of Engineering Advisory Board at Virginia Tech and is currently serving on the advisory boards at CU Boulder and USC. She is also a member of the Sandia National Laboratory Board of Directors, Chair of the Audit & Ethics committee, and a member of the Governance committee.
Lisa is married with two adult children. She lives in the foothills west of Denver, in Evergreen, Colorado. She has a great love for dogs and fosters moms and young puppies for a local animal rescue center. Since she began fostering five years ago, she has saved and found homes for more than 400 dogs.
Lisa wants to support others in becoming strong leaders, creating a strong work/life balance, and focusing on how to achieve results within teams.
