Karene Richards is a capital markets expert and women’s advocate with over 15 years’ experience in the investment banking industry. Karene most notably built the first Carbon Finance model for the World Bank in addition to a student loan backed security restructuring model that generated $25M. She received a Masters of Financial Mathematics and Statistics from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Howard University.
Currently, Karene serves as the Finance Chair of the National Governing Board of the Association of Women in Science and is an Advisory Board Member for FinTech 4 Good.
