Currently, Johanna is a partner at Two Goats, a creative technology studio focusing on building next-gen creative consumer experiences for audiences around the world.
Johanna is also a partner at Freedom Studios, a media company creating thought-provoking, groundbreaking, and uplifting content for the global market that inspires social change.
Johanna is also a partner at TechRow. TechRow is an education technology company that harnesses the power of community and innovation to improve learning and life outcomes through immersive technology. By working collaboratively with educators, engineers, and design-thinkers, we are able to support capacity-building strategies geared towards creating 21st-century learning environments.
With a history of launching Linear and Digital networks for the US and Global Audiences, Johanna has been producing and developing multi-million dollar productions, integrating new and emerging technologies into creative storytelling, and making sense of data. Formerly, Johanna was the Vice President of Production Planning & Operations at Viacom for the following brands: MTV, VH1, LOGO, Comedy Central, SPIKE (now Paramount Network), CMT & TV Land. She also worked with Youtube, Cirque Du Soleil, Food Network, and helped launch MTV Tr3s, a linear network for bicultural and bilingual US Hispanics; she created jobs for hundreds of Latino and Latina creatives in the US and abroad. In 2009, Johanna launched the Miami Chapter of Young Women Social Entrepreneurs (YWSE). In 2010 Johanna received an MBA from Florida International University (FIU) with a focus on International Markets.
Outside of disrupting media, Johanna is constantly building next-generation media companies, trying to survive the world of entrepreneurship, and feeding communities in need. She spends all her free time with family, reading lots of audiobooks, and whiteboarding future media business models.
