Joanne Filbin is CFO and COO at Globacap, a FCA regulated fintech startup based in London. Globacap is an automated capital markets platform pioneering the use of blockchain technology to slash time and costs associated with arranging, issuing, administering and providing custody for securities. Globacap issued the world’s first equity in blockchain form last summer. Prior to this, Joanne independently advised private equity funds’ portfolio companies on operational improvement and profitability enhancement and has held a number of senior roles in transformation at large corporates. Joanne trained as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG, where she spent 7 years in Transaction Advisory. Joanne is currently studying for an Executive MBA at London Business School and is shortly to become a mum for the first time.
