Jindra Monique Cekan/ova, Ph.D. has 32 years of experience in international development, using participatory methods to learn from villagers and ministers in 27 countries. She has worked for non-profits like the Red Cross, Catholic Relief, Mercy
Corps, CARE, funders like USAID and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and consultancies for Coopers & Lybrand, Price Waterhouse, MSI and Salomon Brothers.
All of these voices have shaped her consulting to focus on ex-post-project evaluation on Sustained and Emerging Impacts Evaluations at www.ValuingVoices.com (since 2013) and her new initiative working to bridge the social innovation needs of the non-profit sector for new funding sources from impact investing and their needs to document actual impact: www.ImpactGuild.org (since 2018). Dr. Cekan/ova has studied and taught at The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University and Harvard University, was a research fellow at UK’s University of Cambridge and a Pew Charitable Trust fellow. She
is a mother of two and supports giraffe conservation. She is a dual US-Czech citizen.
