Jade is an AfroLatina, bilingual, queer, Jackie-of-all-trades. Teacher and translator for over 8 years, content creator, self-proclaimed writer, and self-taught geek. She has done prominent work with different organizations both in her home country, Dominican Republic, and the United States; publishing research, protection of detainees campaigns, and language accessibility, to name some. She currently runs her own project (The Language Geek Project) that focuses on new language acquisition philosophies, accessibility through translation, storytelling, and intersectionality. She’s also an avid creator and handcrafter, who will be overcoming her fears of moving to a new land only two years ago and start her own shop. Â
