As the Director of Marketing at The Washington DC Economic Partnership, Emily Rasowsky has led the ecosystem development across tech and impact communities. Her work includes the launch of the first Inclusive Smart Cities Summit at the US Institute of Peace and leading the marketing for DC’s SXSW initiative called the WeDC Campaign – the #1 digital campaign at SXSW two years in a row. Prior to WDCEP, Emily led digital strategy for a marketing agency where her clients included NASA, Honda, Booz Allen among other leading innovations.
As the Founder of The Women in Tech Campaign which elevates leaders in the tech sector through storytelling and connects them through on and offline events. She has profiled over 300 women in 13+ countries and partnered with leaders in tech such as Nokia, AOL, and more. The Women in Tech Campaign is also building a platform, based on machine
intelligence, to predict the top leaders in a firm, using predictive buying and learning habits as well as personality indicators while removing variables of race age or gender with the goal of helping company executives make more inclusive human capital decisions.
Emily studied economics at the George Washington University and is a 500 hour certified
yoga instructor in DC.
