Deloris (Del) Wilson is the BEACON/Inclusive Innovation Fellow at the Institute for Technology Law and Policy at Georgetown law. As a social entrepreneur and impact strategist, she has served as a business development consultant for a variety of start-up ventures including co-founding the Islands Innovation Institute in Sint Maarten and leading content strategy for PushBlack, the nation’s first text-based civic engagement platform for African-Americans – helping to grow its user base from 50k to 650k in less than a year. Her previous roles include designing and leading a nationwide training series for minority entrepreneurs as well as advising Barbados’ Ministry of Culture on opportunities to develop the creative and cultural industries. Presently, Del manages the research and operations portfolio for BEACON: The D.C. Women Founders Initiative. She is passionate about supporting socially-purposed business ventures, while expanding access, opportunity and influence to communities in need.  An Alabama native with professional experience across seven countries, Del holds an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School of Government, a JD from Georgetown Law and BA, summa cum laude from Spelman College.
