Chief Talent Officer | 8th Light

As Chief Talent Officer at 8th Light, Claudia is responsible for designing and implementing solutions that enable each employee to grow and thrive while honing their craft. Craft is central to 8th Light, a software consultancy rooted in an apprenticeship model where all engineers, junior to senior, begin their tenure at 8th Light with a paid apprenticeship that focuses on learning. Claudia’s primary mission is cultivating an inclusive learning culture and her most frequently used word is “feedback”.

Before joining 8th Light in 2017, Claudia spent four years as an independent change management and organizational design consultant helping growing companies learn how to create high functioning teams, communicate effectively, and find the right processes and structures to reach their goals. Before that she held various senior leadership roles in advertising agencies. She has a MS in Learning and Organizational Change and is passionate about making work a rewarding, energizing and fun place to spend most of your waking hours.

Claudia loves dogs, beer and travel and is a recovering ultramarathon runner. She’s happy to talk about any of those topics at any time. And show you pictures of her dogs.
