Claire Hough is Senior Vice President of Engineering at Udemy, a global marketplace for learning and teaching online where more than 11 million students learn from an extensive library of 40,000 courses taught by expert instructors in 80 different languages. She leads all engineering and development functions for the company’s geographically distributed team. Claire has been a leader in the Silicon Valley technology world for more than two decades. Prior to joining Udemy, she held senior executive positions at Citrus Lane, NexTag, Napster, and Netscape. She has a BS and MS in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
