Founder | Sista Circle: Black Women in Tech
Alexandria Noel Butler, affectionately known as Lexi B, is considered one of Silicon Valley’s candid and prominent voices. Her thought provoking advice and opinions on how to create a more equitable work environment stem from her own experiences working in some of the most popular tech companies. In April 2017, Lexi B founded Sista Circle: Black Women in Tech, a community that supports Black women in tech companies and tech related professions. This 6900+ international community has partnered with organizations such as Phenomenally, Instagram, Youtube, Linkedin and Slack. Lexi’s main mission is to inspire people to create their desired life journey by understanding their purpose and life goals.
In 2018, Lexi B founded her newest venture, Unfiltered By Lexi B, to provide candid career and professional development tips and tricks to new college graduates. In her own words, “People deserve to live the life that caters to their strengths and passions. When they truly understand what they need and what they offer, they can then implement tools to create their own path and thrive.” She is a former Stanford Black Alumni Association Board Member and NLC Fellow. In September 2020, Lexi was appointed board membership to Project Invent, an educational organization dedicated to giving high school students first hand experience in startup development and venture capital.
