With nearly 25 years in the telecommunications service field, Alana W. Beal led and participated in major milestones and several generations of technological advancements in the Relay sector. Beal is recognized nationally for her thorough leadership and expertise in product development, training and client relations for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing markets. She is now with the Sprint Accessibility team, with the primary focus on providing accessible solutions for the disability community globally.

As a former president of Deaf Women United, a 30-year national membership organization that remains the only one of its kind, Beal is also a regular video blogger on workplace communications and business practices at  DeafNation.com , the premier web portal for sign language audiences. She is also a frequent speaker at conferences and networking events. She continues to facilitate training sessions towards organizational change and professional coaching support through her company, Creative Consultations, Inc. The New York native received her bachelor degree in communication arts from Gallaudet University and master degree in organizational management from the College of Business at University of Phoenix.  Beal currently lives in Charlotte, NC, with her husband.
