Adriel Hampton is VP of Business Development at NationBuilder and focuses on helping companies use the NationBuilder APIs and grow their sales through our Platform. He also works with brands and nonprofits to help activate leaders and build authentic communities on and off-line.
In 2009, Adriel founded Gov 2.0 Radio and became the first person to announce a run for U.S. Congress through Twitter – a milestone that got him more Twitter followers than votes. He’s a board member of LegiNation and a frequent speaker on better government through tech-enabled collaboration.
Before joining NationBuilder as part of its original team, Adriel worked as an investigator for San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera for six years.
From 2009 to 2011, Adriel organized CityCamp San Francisco and in 2011, his friends at GovFresh named him “Citizen of the Year” for his work in open government. In 2013, Campaigns & Elections Magazine named Adriel one of their Rising Stars of the political industry.
