Wonder Women Tech (WWT) is a conference franchise and series of educational programming that highlights, celebrates and educates women in STEAM, (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) and innovation. Our platform offers a variety of speakers, panel discussions, coding classes, hackathons and other dynamic initiatives geared towards empowering women and girls and educating our male counterparts.
Internship Description:
– Â Interns will have the opportunity to work hands-on with the company leadership and get involved in substantive projects.
– Â We are looking for interns to assist with Front-End Development and website maintenance.

Must-haves to Apply :
– Â Creative and organized with a passion for socially conscious media.
– Â Comfortable working independently to meet group goals.
– Â You need to own your own computer and be proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop (CSS
knowledge is a plus)
– Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
– An extreme attention to detailÂ
– Experience programming within a web-based environment
– Experience building HTML / XHTML layouts and CSS skills
– Experience using WordPress and/or Drupal preferred
– Own your own laptop

Additional Details:
Time Commitment: 16-20 hours a week for 3 months. Schedule is flexible.
Location: Virtual and available HQ in Long Beach, CA.
Remuneration: This is an unpaid position.
