Kenya F. Pierce is an entrepreneur with over 17 years of experience in Business Management, Development and Marketing. She has co-founded several successful companies in diverse areas including The Interamerica Group, a business and government management consulting firm in Washington DC., Bella Baby USA, a children’s apparel retail business, and Voulez Beauté (INGLOT USA), exclusive US partner of Inglot Cosmetics, where she is the Co-President and Chief Operating Officer. Kenya has lead projects both internationally and in the United States and has provided management consulting services for both government and the private sector.
Kenya is a champion for women empowerment and equality. She is a member of several non-profit organizations including Latinas 4 Latinas, Knock Out Abuse Against Domestic Violence, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and The Capital Speakers Club. She has served as the Vice-president to the Opera International Guild, a non-profit with the mission to raise funds for students of music, Young Musical Scholars. Through the years, she has mentored several young business professionals and has partnered with and spoken to prestigious educational organizations such as Georgetown University Business School, and the Deca Business Program. Kenya worked actively on the 2017 tax reform bill, addressing Congress on tax issues detrimental to small business sustainable growth and advocated for improved environment for small businesses in general. Kenya’s political experience is derived from her position on host committees of several presidential and senatorial fundraising events and presidential inaugural activities.
Kenya resides in the Washington D.C area since 2000 when she moved from Brazil to work at Interamerican Development Bank. There she worked on projects regarding environmental law, legislation, and regulations for the Central and South America region.
Kenya was born in Brazil where she studied Law and Business. Besides English, she is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
