Erika Klics has 8 years of recruiting experience within tech and startups. Prior to recruiting, Erika worked as an actor in Los Angeles. (You might recognize her from such memorable roles as “Woman on Sidewalk”, ‘Waiter #3’, and ‘Chorus’.) Acting developed her abilities to listen closely and read people –  surprisingly handy skills in her current role. Erika is passionate about making tech a safe and welcoming space for people from all kinds of backgrounds. She’s currently on the team at Zapier , a 100% remote tech company, where she focuses on diversity initiatives and hiring across Engineering, Design, and Business.
