Vaylian’s co-founder and head of creative production, Melody Misiaszek, got her start in the education technology space. Her early days at the pioneering computer graphics/design tutorial website lynda.com, were spent supporting their individual and academic customer base and managing all their trade events. As the company grew from a small startup to the premiere online source for design, business, and technology training – Melody advanced into Digital and Content Marketing, managing multi-million dollar seasonal and product campaigns. In 2015, lynda.com was acquired by the professional social network, LinkedIn, for $1.5 billion. During Melody’s decade-long career there, she produced and supported a handful of video productions, which sparked her love of creative development and storytelling.

Melody co-founded Vaylian with Damien Christian D’Amico in late 2015, bringing her organizational skills, business acumen, and unwavering dedication to creative integrity. She helped develop the production studio’s focus on emerging platforms, interactive media, and experiential marketing.

With technology transforming art and media, Melody’s long history of marketing + event management, and Damien’s abundant creative vision – Vaylian Studios is able to continually stretch boundaries to generate exciting and unexpected content on a variety of new and highly adopted platforms.
