Gigi is a digital explorer.  She creates educational programs, teaches, consults, and speaks internationally on future impacts of digital disruption on media, life, culture, and systems.   She explores tech and music in terms of the song itself, experiences, and communities as the Executive Director of the UCLA Center for Music Innovation at the Herb Alpert School of Music.  She hosts the UCLA podcast “Innovating Music,” which showcases diverse innovators changing music.  She looks at next-generation digital futures as the Executive Director of the Maremel Institute.  And she also works with tech impact on future careers at the non-profit Next Careers, where she also works with 1,500 7th-12th graders on designing and crafting robotis for challenge competitions each year
