Avanti, 11 years, is a pre-teen Technology specialist at Workshop4Me who believes ‘see it and then be it’. She has been selected as Finalist in the Technology Playmaker awards ‘Rising Star of the year’ category and invited to London for a gathering of 300 women in technology this March. Avanti has been coding since she was 7 years old and started to teach youngsters from Autumn 2016 when she was 9 years old. In April 2017, she participated in the Technovation Challenge, along with 3 other members of the Luxembourg team. In it she coded a mobile app and also wrote a business plan for it. Soon after, Avanti started to get invitations to address conferences. In August 2017, she was the youngest speaker at the Scratch Conference in Budapest, Hungary. On Nov 17, 2017, Avanti delivered a talk on the subject of Entrepreneurship at Hub Dot event in Luxembourg and on Feb 8, 2018 in London during the 5th Anniversary. She has run several coding workshops recently:

• In December 2017, she facilitated the Hour of Code event at Microsoft Luxembourg aimed for 6-13 year old children.
• In October 2017 during EU Code Week, she ran a mobile app development session specifically aimed at young girls to inspire them to try coding. She also ran a Creative Computing workshop for 5-9 year olds.
• In June 2017, she ran a coding session for the LuxKids Lab Flight Academy visit and coding event.
• In May 2017, she ran introduction to Scratch session for pre-teens during the weekend Scratch Day celebrations in Luxembourg.
• In January 2017, she ran a paper based introduction to coding workshop, graph paper programming for the 6-8 year old Beavers and their siblings.
