Keith Wilson, MD is the chief medical officer of Molina Healthcare. In this role, Dr. Wilson is responsible for establishing clinical policy and oversight of medical management functions of all the Company’s health plan subsidiaries, including utilization management, quality improvement, pharmacy and risk management activities. He was previously the vice president of clinical services for the Molina Medical Group clinics and American Family Care. Dr. Wilson has nearly 30 years of experience in the health care industry. Prior to joining Molina Healthcare in March 2013, he served as a regional medical director with HealthCare Partners. He was also previously the president and CEO of Talbert Medical Group until he arranged the group’s merger with HealthCare Partners.

As an undergraduate at the University of Southern California, Dr. Wilson majored in chemistry and chemical engineering. After his junior year, he accepted early admission into Howard University College of Medicine in Washington D.C., where he received his medical degree. He later completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at King-Drew Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. Wilson is an active board member and past chairman of the Financial Solvency Standards Board for the State of California’s Department of Managed Care, past chairman of the California Association of Physician Groups (CAPG), and past board member of the Spencer Hospice Foundation. He currently sits on the CAPG Public Policy committee and is also a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
