Yasmine Boudiaf

Yasmine Boudiaf makes virtual reality experiences that change people’s behaviour. She uses VR as a training tool to immerse people in challenging social situations. Her topics of interest are implicit bias, cross-cultural understanding and innovation. She has a background in biomedical science and produces experiences and consults via her company Serious Datum. Her recent experiences address subtle forms of misogyny and mental health awareness in places of work. She is passionate about using tech to address inequality in society. She draws from her personal experience  as a woman, ethnic minority and immigrant. She believes empowerment comes from financial security and building bridges between diverse groups.
