Susan K Beeney unknowingly began her focus of helping grieving people when she began her hospice nursing career at the age of 37. Working as a staff/hospice nurse on a cancer-blood disorder unit of the local VA Medical Center, brought daily opportunities to experience first-hand exposure with grief and loss. These losses plus the ones she already had experienced in her own life, put her on a pathway to become a specialist and author of grief. New Hope Grief Support Community was birthed out of these pathways of destiny.
