“As a recruiter there’s nothing more satisfying than to be part of someone’s journey in reaching a career milestone and landing the job.” It is this attitude that has given Stacy Garnett a passion in helping recruit and align people with their career goals. Stacy’s background in recruiting originally started in the finance industry, recruiting financial advisors and partners for New York Life. Seeing an opportunity and an undersaturated market for IT professionals, Stacy decided to take a leap of faith and jump into the tech industry joining the Feddata team recruiting cleared IT professionals for government and civilian contracts.

In Stacy’s personnel time she continues her life goal of giving back and aiding local non-profit communities. Stacy has lent her branding/marketing experience as board member for 22 Needs a Face helping to bring awareness to veteran suicide and volunteers for LightHouse DC helping local families transition from homelessness to stable housing.

Stacy is also a 4th generation Army veteran who also lends her time as a mentor for Hiring our Heroes, aiding veterans with career transitioning. She is a proud mother of 3 with her 2 oldest also serving in the Army. Stacy currently resides in Washington DC where she and her daughter enjoy the city’s abundance of museums and parks, watching old movies, and cooking together.
