Shayna Adler

Recording Artist and Sound Engineer | Berklee College of Music

Shayna is a cinematic folk-rock artist from Long Beach, California, with a stellar imagination and flair for storytelling through music. Her adventurous and otherworldly sound has taken Americana off of the front porch, and sent it into outer space. Fans have described Shayna as a cross between k.d. lang and 10,000 Maniacs, because of her unmistakable voice paired with musical arrangements that break all of the rules. Since 2017, Shayna has kept her music “about the stories,” and has taken that precedent across towns, cities, and states: touring nationally with her band and turning the heads of fans everywhere.

Shayna is working on her first full-length album at Horse Latitudes Studios in Glendale, California with producer/engineer Michael Dumas, who is known for his work with Dwight Yoakam, Lucinda Williams, Jim Lauderdale, and more.

An avid musician, Shayna is a multi-instrumentalist, mainly performing with acoustic guitar. She also plays the mandolin, fiddle, alto sax, electric bass, and keyboards. Outside of her endeavors as an artist, Shayna is an accomplished audio engineer in Los Angeles.
