Real Estate Advisor | Compass

A third generation San Francisco Bay Area native and U.C. Berkeley alumni, Ms. Blackwell is the founder and President of Blackwell & Co., a real estate advisory group that focuses on Wealth & Lifestyle Real Estate and guides home buyers and investors through real estate decisions and processes.

Her intrigue with the real estate industry stemmed from and was influenced by four generations of Bay Area Real Estate professionals in her family: her Interior Designer mother, her Real Estate Service Pioneer grandmother, her grandfather who was an exceptional probability expert and investment advisor, as well as her great grandfather’s real estate development during the early 1900’s. Her brand of real estate is a a mix The old fashioned values ingrained in her from her upbringing, the entrepreneurial spirit of her family and Lisa’s own love of new technologies and commitment to helping others.

After a sustained demand from her client base, Ms. Blackwell, whose expertise is Wealth & Lifestyle Real Estate, launched a powerful series of educational and networking Real Estate Investment events focused on connecting sometimes hard to access real estate resources to her core clientele of households lead or co-lead by women and/or People of Color.

Prior to launching Blackwell & Co, Ms. Blackwell was involved in a number of causes and campaigns that enlightened and empowered others. She started a fundraiser that supported underserved women with breast cancer, raised money to build San Francisco’s Museum of the African Diaspora, relocated to Cleveland for a few months where she co-managed a campaign office in the purple state for Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, and spent time in South Africa to document Queen Semane Mololegi’s life as a freedom fighter.

Today, Ms. Blackwell combines her deep knowledge of San Francisco and East Bay real estate market with her personal journey as a woman and person of color to help other women and POC transform their lives through bridging wealth and life opportunity inequities through real estate.
