Lesley Lucas

Sustainability Program Manager | Hewlett Packard Enterprises

If we’re actually going to mitigate this whole seemingly insurmountable, rapidly evolving climate change and inequality nightmare, we’re going to have to admit that these two issues are inextricably linked. Lesley grew up on the Gulf Coast and witnessed firsthand how unchecked capitalism and industrial growth erased both precious wetlands and indigenous communities. Since then, Lesley has developed her career around the interrelated issues behind social and environmental justice, from ecological research spanning 3 continents, grassroots work in non-profits and community activism, to leveraging technology to help solve our global society’s toughest challenges. Today, Lesley manages sustainability programs at Hewlett Packard Enterprise spanning design for circularity to empowering employees to drive our environmental, social and governance leadership. Beyond her day job, Lesley co-hosts the podcast Greenhouse Lasses amplifying the diverse voices working to build a more sustainable world. In her free time, Lesley enjoys hiking with her dog Brisket, being involved in organizations like the Sunrise Movement and Showing Up for Racial Justice, and continually working to dismantle white supremacy.
