Lakecia N. Gunter is Vice President of the Programmable Solutions Group and General Manager of Ecosystem Development and Operations at Intel Corporation. She is responsible for architecting and executing a strategy to drive the adoption of Intel® FPGA accelerator solutions in the marketplace, and deliver 2X revenue growth through the implementation of new business models.

Most recently, she served as the Chief of Staff (CoS) and Technical Assistant (TA) to Intel’s CEO Brian Krzanich. In this role, she partnered with the CEO drive one of the largest corporate transformations in Intel’s 50 year history—Intel’s transformation from a pc-centric company to a data-centric company.

Gunter joined Intel in 2008 as technical program manager in the Validation Engineering organization and has held numerous technical and leadership positions within the company, including serving as a General Manager for the Consumer Desktop Segment in Intel’s Client Computing Group.

Gunter is an active member of Intel’s Network of Executive Women and Intel’s Black Leadership Council, and advocates for teen and young adult education through several non-profit organizations. Her passion for math and engineering and commitment to increasing the pipeline of engineers and scientists is fully showcased as the founder and director of a non-profit organization to empower youth in the areas of confidence, self-esteem, and leadership skills and to expose them to STEM careers.

She was named one of the “26 Most Powerful Female Engineers” by Business Insider and she received the Society of Women Engineers’ Prism Award for demonstrating outstanding technology and community leadership.

Lakecia earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from University of South Florida. Lakecia also earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
