Katie Burke is the Associate Manager of Technology Initiatives for Dow Jones. Through her technical evangelist work, she has helped Dow Jones’s technology department create a handbook of best practices as well as build it’s external presence, by launching the Dow Jones Tech blog and open sourcing some of the company’s best tools and services. Additionally, Katie helped cofound Dow Jones’s Women-In-Tech group, and now leads the group and it’s initiatives. The group’s focus is to expand female tech presence internally, and help recruit more women into the technology department globally.
