Jordan Schmidt serves as the Public Affairs Manager at Riot Games, creator and publisher of League of Legends. His primary focus is regulatory and policy strategy. He also founded the Urf Academy, Riot Games’ world-wide game design education effort for underrepresented groups, bringing more than 1,000 students from the Los Angeles area through Riot Games’ campus for game design and narrative writing fundamentals classes.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Communications Management from the University of Southern California, Annenberg School of Communication and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from Chapman University – where he served as an adjunct professor in Corporate and Strategic Communications. He is an active advocate for Mental Health Awareness as a writer and empathetic ear.
