Hi, I’m Jackie! I use email to make magic. I love to swoop in, fight spam, build community and help small businesses make more money—all while making you look amazing. When not gobbling down the latest and greatest email newsletter, you can find me creating zines for my independent publication, CosmicZine. You can also find me practicing tricks and spins on my fuschia Moxi roller skates at the beach, traveling solo, reading the thickest book I
can find, or plucking herbs from my garden—grown organically, of course. (And as I’ve learned, it’s harder than it seems!) While the roots of my yarrow are firmly planted in my backyard in California, my own roots come from the earth of Mexico and El Salvador—I’ve been the first of my family to do a lot of things, which is why I developed a special affinity for first-generation entrepreneurs. First-gen folks are resilient and hungry and hold the world on their shoulders which is why I created CosmicZine, a community for first-gen folks to gather and share resources with one another as they go through it.
