Chief Jonelle Eldredge was born in Riverside, California on January 23, 1983.  In June of 2003, she enlisted in the U.S. Navy under the AV program and attended basic training at Great Lakes, Illinois in Feb. 2004.  After graduating basic training, she reported to Pensacola, Florida for Aviation Electronics Technician, Intermediate Strand, class “A” school.    

 
Chief Eldredge reported to her first duty assignment onboard Naval Air Station Jacksonville to Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Detachment (AIMD) Jacksonville in November of 2004.  During this tour, she was selected as Bluejacket of the Year, Shore and promoted to Petty Officer Third Class. In November 2006, she transferred to Oak Harbor, Washington, where she was assigned to Fleet Readiness Center Northwest, P-3 Operational Detachment. She deployed twice to AIMD Misawa with VP – 16 and VP – 46, respectively, where she earned her Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist as well as advanced to the rank of E-5.   

 
 In November of 2010, she was assigned to Naval Recruiting Command (NRD) Dallas, where within her first year, was selected as Enlisted Diversity Recruiter of the Year. Due to her outstanding recruiting efforts, in January of 2012, she was meritoriously advanced to the rank of E-6.  Chief Eldredge then was assigned to Naval Air Station North Island with Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron SEVEN ONE, where she served as Quality Assurance Leading Petty Officer for 10 Senior Sailors.  Eldredge was then deployed with CARRIER AIR GROUP 9 onboard the USS JOHN C. STENNIS, where she earned her Enlisted Surface Warfare pin.  

 
 Chief Eldredge has one son, Bishop, 6 months and she happily married to Chief Kevin Eldredge of NETC N33, Accessions Detailing. She currently is assigned to Navy Recruiting Command in May where she serves as a Diversity Program Manager.  Her decorations include Navy Achievement medal (six awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and numerous unit awards.
