Growth Expert and Business Development Leader | GrowthX

Jennifer is currently with GrowthX, a seed­ stage venture capital fund based in San Francisco, where she works closely with GrowthX portfolio companies, leading them through a rigorous market accelerator program, helping them scale their products and find their product­ market fit so they gain the necessary traction to secure series A funding. The foundation Jennifer lays at the very early stage of a company shapes the form each business will take in the future.

She is also currently developing GrowthX.ORG which will expand GrowthX’s work and mentorship into the non­profit sector. Prior to joining GrowthX, Jennifer was the second business development hire at Sosh (acquired by Postmates). There, she built out and managed the Sales Development team across Sosh’s five U.S. markets.

Before making the leap into the world of startups, Jennifer lived in Shanghai, China working with Allied Van Lines and their parent company, Sirva Relocation. While with Allied, she managed the Marketing and Customer Service departments across Allied’s 8 China offices, launched China’s Corporate Responsibility Program and assisted with Asia’s regional marketing strategy. Afterwards, she switched roles over to Sirva as a Global Relationship Account Manager to roll­out of a new global logistics program with a Fortune 100 technology corporation.

Jennifer has a passion for philanthropic work. While at Pepperdine University, she worked as a Service Leadership consultant with ARC of Ventura County, as an intern in Nairobi with Kenya Network of Women with AIDS (KENWA), and was heavily involved with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital­­ leading campus fundraising efforts as Tri Delta’s philanthropy chair. After graduation, Jennifer went on to work for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, and while in Shanghai, Jennifer volunteered with Chi Fan for Charity, an event in support of a local charity, as their Sponsorship Chair.
